The Thai department of labor has stopped sending workers to Kuwait after a brawl with Egyptian laborers broke out in a camp this week. Some 200 Egyptian workers surrounded a Thai encampment, the subsequent brawl left 6 Thais hospitalized.

Thailand had proposed to regain an economic growth rate of 8% based on an increase in the export and tourism industries. Growth in the country is greatly perpetuated by increasing foreign investment.
